This group is for musicians/singers/songwriters interested in sharing their work with other like-minded folks and receiving honest, constructive feedback. The group will meet once a month to share songs and discuss the craft of songwriting.

This is a group devoted to constructively collaborating on songwriting and singing. The idea is to meet periodically to share songs that we've been working on. We'll eat and drink--potluck, although whoever hosts (me, for instance) might contribute something extra, like a big bowl of pasta or something like that--and we'll play songs for each other. We'll discuss each other's work, we'll talk about what works and what doesn't, and we'll give each other encouragement and advice where appropriate. …

The Songwriters Association of Washington of which I am a member is a long established Association that provides educational opportunities, open mics, networking, song circles, seminars, a monthly songwriters Toolbox session and other interesting activities. I am establishing this meetup to help unaffiliated songwriters join and find out more about activities.
